As a Content Producer, you’ll plan, film, and edit creative assets for social media and marketing campaigns — working closely with our team and creators to bring each brand’s story to life.

Managing content for up to 20 clients, you’ll take ownership of the creative strategy and production process, ensuring every piece of content aligns with brand goals, audience intent, and campaign strategy.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Plan and coordinate content shoots for Bmedia’s client portfolio, ensuring each production aligns with brand goals and campaign strategies.
  • Develop creative concepts, shot lists, and storyboards for social media and marketing content.
  • Attend and assist on-location shoots across Melbourne, ensuring smooth coordination between talent, clients, and crew.
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Maintain consistency in visual style, tone, and messaging across all client deliverables.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all edited content according to project timelines and client schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Management, paid ads and influencer teams to align creative direction with performance goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, editing techniques, and emerging content formats to keep Bmedia’s output fresh and relevant.
  • Manage file organization, backups, and version control for all creative assets.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in content production, including planning, filming, and editing social media or marketing content.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software.
  • Skilled in camera operation, lighting, and audio basics for on-location shoots.
  • Ability to direct and collaborate with influencers, creators, and clients during shoots.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and platform-specific content formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Strong creative judgment and visual composition skills.
  • Proficiency in file management, media organization, and cloud storage workflows (Google Drive, Dropbox, or Frame.io).
  • Strong communication skills — able to interpret briefs, give creative input, and provide status updates clearly.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, on-brand content.
  • Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with Overseas and Australian based teams.

Nice to haves

  • Ability to produce UGC-style videos and authentic, creator-led content.
  • Experience directing on-location shoots or coordinating small production crews.
  • Basic understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and LUT workflows.
  • Drone videography or photography skills.
  • Understanding of brand identity and storytelling for multi-client environments.
  • Passion for staying ahead of social trends, editing styles, and content formats.
