Job Summary

Our Social Media Assistants are responsible for assisting our social media managers and clients needs and requirements to ensure a consistent and engaging social media presence. They are also the first touchpoint of all our clients accounts when it comes to sharing stories, scheduling posts, and responding to comments and messages. If you want to get into social media management, this is the perfect entry level role where you will learn directly from our expert social media managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists the social media managers in maintaining an international client portfolio.
  • Schedule client content across all social media platforms.
  • Share and re-share all stories for client accounts.
  • Maintain accounts with urgent updates, highlights and necessary changes
  • Notify the social media managers or clients of any changes, errors or urgent needs.
  • Design and share stories on a daily basis for the client.
  • Observe and stay on top of daily platform metrics (reach, engagement, followers, shares, saves) and identify patterns or insights.
  • Work closely with paid media specialists to align organic and paid campaigns.
  • Work closely with influencer managers to align content creators with the client strategy.
  • Work closely with and direct the content producers to brief and produce photo, video, and graphic content.
  • Handle up to 8 clients.

Required Skills

This is our senior social media role which requires a breadth of knowledge and experience in managing large social media accounts and clients. We require.

  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Incredible enthusiasm about social media marketing and content.
  • Proven ability to manage and communicate with international clients and high level stakeholders.
  • Background in digital marketing and marketing strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks and needs all at once.
  • Ability to excel in a fast past environment with demanding clients.

Nice to haves

  • Experience managing clients and managing marketing strategies in Australia.
